Taylor Swift surprised fans Sunday night by bringing Gracie Abrams onstage during the latest show of Swift’s Eras Tour at London’s Wembley Stadium. This unexpected collaboration delighted the crowd, marking a memorable moment in the tour.

Abrams, who had previously opened for Swift’s Eras Tour last summer, recently released her second album, The Secret of Us, on Friday. The album features the track “Us,” a collaboration between Swift and Abrams.

Swift recounted the origin of the song, sharing that it was written one night while the two were hanging out, drinking wine, and talking about Abrams’ life. “And talking about your life became this song,” Swift added. During the performance, Swift played the guitar while Abrams played the piano, creating a beautiful harmony.

Following “Us,” Swift treated the audience to a second surprise song, performing a mashup of “Out of the Woods,” “Is It Over Now?” and “Clean.” These tracks are all featured on her album 1989 (both the original and the re-released version).

On Friday, Abrams posted two videos showcasing their collaboration. In one of the videos, Swift is seen grabbing a fire extinguisher to put out a small kitchen fire. Abrams humorously captioned the post, “Writing this entire song from 2am to 6am was some of the most fun I’ve ever had in my life. @taylorswift now we know how to use a fire extinguisher. I love you.”

The duo previously shared the stage last summer in Cincinnati, performing Abrams’ song “I Miss You, I’m Sorry” with Swift accompanying on guitar.

The surprise performance at Wembley Stadium has fans eagerly anticipating what other surprises Swift has in store for the rest of the Eras Tour.
